what I already have

So, Elton and I have been thinking seriously about selling our house. It's been in the back of our minds for a while now. But last week while Elton was browsing houses up north he found an amazing deal - an over 4,000 sf home with 3 acres for $279 - plus it is gorgeous! So we've been trying to see what we could do to sell our place and get up there.
In the course of taking pictures I noticed something. While the new house may be a "dream house", this is what I already have: a beautiful oasis in the middle of a city. I showed Elton and we both agree that we're happy where we're at. We'd buy this house again any day. I'm delighted with what I already have!

new bed

We've had a queen bed all our married life, inherited from an old roommate. There wasn't a headboard or footboard and it was starting to see the end of it's life - not to mention, I'd wake up with a body that was more tired than when it went to bed! All of this in consideration, we weren't planning on buying a bed.

Until Sam fell off (again) and passed out for nearly a minute and gave us a HUGE scare. We decided it was time to get a lower bed and with that came the opportunity to "upgrade" to a king.

SOOOO....This is what KSL did for us - we got all you see: headboard, footboard, rails, pillowtop mattress, 3" memory foam topper, sheets, and comforter for around $500 bucks. Funny thing - it's not much lower than the original queen bed Sam fell off of. Oh well!
