That's what Sam calls ducks. It's the sound they make, according to him.
We got some ducklings this Spring.
Unfortunately, they were eaten last night, most likely by a fox.
In memory of their cuteness, here's a couple pics of one of them with Sam.
At first he loved having it in the bath with him.
But then it got a little too close and touched him.
(don't worry, we cleaned him up real good after having a live animal in the bath with him :)

Those are the funniest pictures! I found myself looking at the first picture and thinking, "is that really a duck? Naw it can't be!" haha, I love that it is and I love Sam's face in the second picture.

Not sure if you taught your enrichment lesson yet, but I just came across a pretty cool book--you've probably already seen it: The Toddler's Busy Book. It gives a bunch of cheap/ free games and activities you can do to entertain them around the house.
Have you been to the Tulip Festival yet? I'm going again tomorrow (Tues) if you want to meet up there.
