At 9 weeks, we finally took John out to be blessed. Our ward has Sacrament last, from 3:05-4:15, so we had family over early for some lunch and mingling. I just counted, and we had 41 people here! - and that was just our parents and some of our siblings with their kids. Elton has 6 brothers and sisters and I have 5, so that makes for a full house when we all try to get together. We had a lot of fun and sure love to see our families. I hope my kids feel as close to each other as I do to my siblings. Here's our family pic in front of the house. We didn't have a daisy to put in the picture, but we were thinking of our sweet Maisie.

Ruby, you look hot for having given birth only 9 weeks ago! My baby is 9 months old and I'm still a huge pile of goo.
I am sorry we missed that. Your family picture is so sweet. I am sure little Maisie was there. I can't believe how big John is getting. I still havn't seen him. Next time you are up hopefully I can catch you.

John just looks adorable! I love the baby pictures of your three precious ones on the side of your blog. They all look the same! Maisie is such a beautiful little girl and I love the name you chose for her. I was considering that name for one of our twins. You have a beautiful family, Jen!
I am glad we got to be there even if it only was for a little while. We are glad to have little john here too! (and of course as ALWAYS, Sam:)
i can't believe he is growing so fast! and cuter by the day. i can't wait until we can get together again, it seems like forever since i have seen you and your cute babies!
