I just had another appt. this afternoon and was sad to hear that I hadn't progressed at all. But then I was surprised when my dr. told me I could be induced on Monday the 22nd. Now I just pray we'll both really be ready so no problems occur.
Because of my group b strep the pediatrician will most likely want to keep John the 2 days to make sure he didn't get it from me, so we won't be coming home after a day (like we have in the past). We most likely will be home on Christmas Eve with our new little bundle of joy for Christmas.
Yay for starting labor!

Good luck next week. We raelly need to get together so our little babies can become good friends being only 3 days apart.
when i heard the news i whooped for joy in the middle of roberts and got a few curious stares. But i really am very excited for you! and i can't wait to meet this little guy!!!

Good for you! I was GB+ with my last and had to stay the full 2 days. I was chomping at the bit to get home the whole second day. Take something with you that you know you will want to do! Getting induced is definitely a good thing, especially with the Group B. It gives you a definite end date, and you are sure to get all the antibiotics you need before the baby comes. Good Luck!
