I don't know how I was so patient with my other 2. Maisie was a week late and I was fine. I knew I didn't have the luck to have her early :) I finished teaching with Sam then was shocked to find out they'd induce me 2 weeks early - it seemed so soon (just a week and a half after school got out!) But now here's my third baby and I'm all ready for Christmas and his arrival...just waiting for him to come. I'm huge and tired and that makes it hard to chase a toddler around most of the day :)
At last week's doctor appointment I had no news (except that I tested positive for Group B Strep - a bit of a stress, but another story) so I'm REALLY hoping that Tuesday I'll have progressed enough that my doctor will induce me. I know, they're high hopes, but I'm getting nervous about having a Christmas baby! If Laurie hadn't already tried all the tricks for an early labor without success, I'd be giving them a try now - even Elton is asking what I can do and if I have any feeling when he'll come...I'll keep you posted, but I still have 2 weeks to go!

I'm pulling for ya! I know exactly how you feel! Maybe it's the third baby that does it to you- I was so ready to just be done and hold the little guy, the anticipation is too much!!

I think its especially hard around Christmas. I wanted hailey to come as far away from christmas as i could get! and was SOO discouraged when there was never anything happening from week to week. (there is never any progress with any of mine; i swear they would stay in there forever if i let them).
But i have to say it was the most special christmas having a brand new baby!
So here is my hope that this little guy decides to make his entrance this week! (the 16th or the nineteenth are great days for birthdays, don't you think?)

i tested positive for group B strep with brooklyn. and she was due in december...i can so relate. i keep thinking of you and can't wait to hear the news of john's arrival.
Ok, I have mixed feelings here! I want you to have John early, but I don't want to miss it!! We are leaving in one week, so how about you have John this week? Sound good? :) Maybe I will come over and have a little talk with your belly (and bring over the bassinet and your microwave!) I can't wait to meet John!
