Doesn't this look delicious?! We're at the point where Sam insists on feeding himself, so I usually have to take him out on the back porch - especially when it's something gooey - to eat. This morning it was oatmeal. After his clean-up I decided not to ever give him oatmeal again. It was EVERYWHERE! But I guess he has to learn sometime and now's a great time since he WANTS to.
And Sam is finally walking. I was certain, months ago, that he would skip crawling since he has always loved being on his feet. But he still took some time to get to the walking stage. It's so fun to have him moving on his own! Although, I must admit that he's a lot faster now!

I'm glad you got to clean that up and not me. I had the hardest time during the whole eating stage. I just hated it when food got stuck and crusted in the high chair:)
so independent! i always preferred oatmeal and rice cereal over the red stuff! stains everything! face, counter, high chair, and clothes on the way out! that is so exciting that he is walking too! also, i hope you are feeling more like yourself and not so sick. see you maybe tomorrow!
That is so cute that he is walking. Krew is not far behind. He still is to scard to let go and just start walking.
jen, i keep checking to see if you have posted, and seriously that little pregnancy ticker thing is out of control. it is gonna be here before i know it! when is your ultrasound? anytime now right? anyway, just checking in!
