It's already boxed and ready for shipment.
You have ten seconds before it goes into the trash.REALLY, if you've seen our home, you've probably witnessed our "rainbow room". Now it's officially no longer the rainbow room because Elton tore up the carpet that was glued, YES - GLUED, directly to the cement and we peeled off the rainbow wallpaper. Soon we hope to paint it and put carpet down so it won't give our visitors nightmares any more.
If you don't know, Elton will be working from home starting in August, so we tore out the cabinets lining the little room behind the laundry room (another odd room....) and are finishing that, also, as Elton's new office. He hopes the double doors will keep it quieter and safer from little hands.
So that's what we're up to these days -- well, actually, Elton's doing 99% of it, but I watch Sam :)

jen, i am sure melanie could use that carpet! seriously, she can make something fabulous out of anything. oh and brady works from home. i absolutely love it, especially now that i am home too! one of these days i want to see your cute house. i rememeber when you brought over samples for your new cabinets and i happened to be over. ya'll work hard! we went over and swam today, saw amanda for a second-missed you. ok i really shouldn't stay up past 12, i have way too much to say!
The rainbow room is no more?! Oh that is so sad!! I hope you took some pictures. I can honestly say I have never seen a room with more character. I think you should send that box of carpet over to OKLAHOMA to sarah...
You need to post pictures of the room. I'm dying to see it.
Maybe we could come pick up the carpet and re-create the rainbow room somewhere else! Whoever put that all together was terribly creative....or maybe just terrible!
Dang it I really did enjoy the rainbow room :) It was so good to see you this weekend. Let us know as soon as you find out what that baby is.
I remember that room- so it is all gone? you should sell those carpet pieces on ebay- vintage is all the rage right now! I can't wait to see the new room!
