your child finds the Crisco and shoves his hands in as deep as they can go, then flings the greasy, goopy, mess everywhere. He also wipes his hands on everything including the rug, his body and hair, and his mom.
Currently we are waiting for his newly cleaned blanket to dry so he can finally take his nap.
So, does anyone have a good story to rival this little monster? (I know you do!) Thank goodness we don't have carpet!

Oh. My. Gosh!!!
That is a nasty mess. How do you even clean it up?! Its like so greasy. I have a hard time cleaning it off my own hands :)
...He looks like he's having SOOO much fun though!
i think sarah has a story about a little "mess" that can rival that!
i also had an incident with caleb and a bottle of ink. that was fun...scrubbing for days.
all i have to say is berkeley and a bottle of black scrapbook paint. but crisco....how in the world did you clean it up?
That is hilarious...not fun to clean up...but I can't stop laughing!
Yesterday must have been the day for messy boys. Hayden smeared a tube of Desitin all over his body and the carpet.
just surfing and found your blog.Too cute! My now 16 year old was my terror. Whenever I went into the shower he would find something. One week a bucket full of blueberries, the next peanut butter( for a small jar I sure found it everywhere), the worst though was an industrial costco sized liquid laundry detergent. I think it was a five gallon tub. I saw bubble for years whenever someone would spill water.
My younger son (who's 28 now!) did that with Wesson Oil - at least it was in the kitchen where there wasn't a rug! He was having a great time! I washed the sleepers he was wearing about 4 times before I gave up and threw them away - could not get the oil out. He became...guess what? A mechanic when he grew up! So...he's STILL playing with oil, LOL!
A post such as this does my heart good. It's so nice to know that someone lives a life like mine. I love knowing that I'm no alone in teh insanity of two-year-old antics. Were you able to get it out of the rug?
When my son was little, he used the contents of his diaper as mud for his trucks to run through. He also used it to paint the walls, floors, himself and his sister! We celebrated when he became potty trained.
