Okay. There's not much going on with our little family lately. I've been trying to get Christmas ready in case the little munchkin comes early or I just don't feel like doing anything (which is more likely). And for the most part the gifts are bought/made. Now I need to wrap and label them.
Then I need to decide if I'm sending a photo out with a Christmas card this year (would anyone really be sad???), possibly print it, address envelopes, and write messages in the cards that I DID NOT make this year.
I need to make a photo ornament for Sam. (our tradition is a new kid's picture on the tree every year - this year on the back of an ornament I bought)
Somewhere in between the Christmas stuff I still need to: launder baby's clothes, sheets, and blankets; pull out crib pads and anything else I might need; make a blanket just for John; pick a spot in Sam's room for John's bed; get teeny diapers; and do anything else I may have forgotten.
And while I do all that I still need to play with Sam or have a little shadow getting into everything I do. He's so much fun these days that it's hard not to play with him, but it's crunch time and I'm really feeling it. Maybe it's that "nesting" phase :)
I wish you all luck and best wishes as you prepare for your holidays. I know I'm not the only one with things to do - have fun!!!

It seriously does sound like you are nesting! I am sure it doesn't help that it is holiday time! Please pick a day next week when I can watch Sam, then you can get some stuff done. Grace loves having her cousin around :)
jen, it can't be time already! why is it that when i am pregnant, it seems like an eternity but when it is someone else it literally flies by? anyway, i have been pretty much absent from the blogging world and trying to get it all done and fit it all in...only i don't have a little one on the way! i hope you get it all done with time to spare!
Boy oh boy, Benj. Suddenly I don't feel so busy. You are like a super woman. I'll wish you luck getting everything perpared, but I know you don't really need it. :)
... Im SUPER,supER, SUPer, suPeR, SUpeR, super, excited to see little John!
*note to John... PLEASE COME EARLY!! I can't wait! :)
that sam can keep anyone going. with his little chubby hand always pulling you somewhere!! we just love that little guy. hey maybe all that chasing him around will make john come out to play a little sooner!
It's getting close!! We are so excited for you- I hope the RRL works and he's here soon!
I got out all the baby clothes a few weeks ago and had them all folded so nicely in the drawer. After the third time of Hyaden emptying the drawer I threw them all back in without folding them again. It is so frustrating to work hard to get things ready for a new baby when the not quite two year old undoes everything. I hope you have better luck than me.
Sounds like you are keeping very busy! But it all sounds fun. It reminds me I don't have as much time to get my Christmas cards going!
I'm so excited for you :) Take it easy (after you do all you need to) and let us know when your little one arrives!
