Today my mom and Hailey, Laurie and George, Amanda and Grace, and I with Sam all went up Little Cottonwood Canyon for a picnic. We actually grabbed some Subway/Wendy's, so we cheated a bit, but had a nice time at Tanner's Flat. Sam was so good, he wouldn't leave the cement pad without taking me with him. He had a nice time exploring, but didn't play in the dirt and leaves as much as I would have thought. We need to take him out more often! Here's his mischievous smile - if you see him make this face, then WATCH OUT! :)

Oh my gosh, that little smile is so cute. And how fun that you guys were all able to go together. Its a perfect time of year. I was just thinking that I wanted to have a picnic since Lexi loves the outdoors so much, but I don't have the pretty mountains to go to :(
He is so cute. I am surprised he didn't play in the dirt more. Last time I saw him he wouldn't get out of the dirt. :)

Your little Sam is so cute! My new email at school is aoxley. It would be great to have you come visit. One of these days we're going to get Julie, Angie, Sally and you down for lunch. I'll chat with the girls and let you know when:)
